Against my better judgement, I went and saw the movie. It turned out to be really good. It takes the a while to start playing his music but once they do, they play a lot of it. I highly recommend it.

The 32 Ford was always a favorite of mine, and I will have one. Some like the 34 better (think ZZ Top) but I was always partial to the deuce.

The Beach Boys are like 4 or 5 different bands over the years. Surfing, Cars, musical experimentation, playing without the best pop music mind possibly ever, and then Mike Love selling it all out. Surely one of those can be pleasing to almost everyone.

I'm not even sure what that could mean. It's "revved up like a deuce". When your car is in park and you step on the gas, your engine revs. A deuce is a name for a car from back in the day. I hate the Beach Boys but they did not have a hit song called "My Little Douche Coupe."
