Alienating non-Saints fans. What we all have in common is being MSU fans, I don't want to be on a Saints board, even by accident. Imagine if you were a Bulldog fan and a Minnesota fan, do you really want to log onto a Saints colored/inspired message board? Let's just all agree on MSU and leave the Saints talk to individual threads, not the whole damn site. Well, that's what I think anyway. </p>edit: I'm not angry about it, but disagree in principle.
Not New Orleans. I buy-in and accept the idea of some having control of this site, but I still don't like it. Even if my favorite teams (mostly Atlanta-based) were in the playoffs, I would hate the idea of changing the color scheme when the Bulldogs are ranked and have an away game against our closest SEC opponent and a rival tomorrow morning (hell it's even prior to the Saints game, at least wait till our game is over).

No one said you can't discuss Mississippi State anymore. Do you have to have a maroon and white background to discuss MSU? The only thing that changed about the board is the colors, not the content, other than you retards complaining. Just deal with it for a little while and it'll go away. Then when the color changes back, we'll finally be allowed to talk about MSU again. Anyone know where I can go to discuss the game Saturday since this board will presumably be black and gold until Sunday?

as a Cardinals fan in the 90's having to see and watch all of the Braves bandwagon fans here.
Now, I know that there are some real Braves fans in Mississippi, and I have no problem with them at all.
But that said, it's not like DS is going to keep the board this way forever- I don't think.
The Saints are doing great, they're a local team for most Mississippians- I'm sure some people will argue the Titans, or even the Falcons, and I'm not going to get into that match.
But I think it's great that the Saints are potentially doing something that they have never done before. And I commend their fans for enjoying it as they should. Personally, I'm on their bandwagon right now, to. I'll probably admit that I'll hop off of it as soon as they start sucking again.
That said, I don't see how this is different than me celebrating something like the Cardinals winning the World Series on here. And I don't think it's any different than you celebrating South Panola doing something like winning 6A on here. It's just that the guy who runs the board has the power to change the colors and I can't change the colors to Cardinal red.

Well hate to say it but alot of us were alive when Archie was QB and followed the saints back then. We all deep down wanted him to suceed but he didn't. But, we've held on to the hope that the saint's would make it to the NFC championship with home field advantage and a chance to win.
Please, point it out so I can take it back. Hell no it has no direct impact on the outcome. However, I thought this was an MState board. And MState is playing our biggest hoops rival tomorrow. Everyone on this board minus Blew and the Rebel Crew are here because of MState. I would think it would make sense for the color scheme to remain in place until Saturday afternoon. But then aGAIN, I use things like logic and don't have a Bama-level homeristic hard-on for all things Black & Gold. I don't mind the endless Aint's threads. Hell, I've kinda been rooting for you on behalf of my long suffering Aint's friends who actually cared when they sucked. But this **** sucks. I know you've got control and won't change it. I'll deal with it. Doesn't mean I have to like it and won't ***** about the Bama level of homerism around here.
I ask why does it matter what is the color scheme for this board? Why does it make sense that it needs to be maroon and white until after the game tomorrow? Do we as fans bring our "A" game when the board is maroon and white? Do I yell louder at my TV when it's maroon and white on SixPack? You saying it should be maroon and white until after the game infers that you think the colors somehow impact the game. The colors could be purple and gold and it wouldn't matter.
