Kind of a shame Lon Kruger couldn't have taken OU there just one year later. That would really make K-State fans' heads explode.well done K-State, well done
Could have had the same situation this year if West Virginia had upset Gonzaga and then beat Xavier.Kind of a shame Lon Kruger couldn't have taken OU there just one year later. That would really make K-State fans' heads explode.
True. Although I guess a K-State fan could rightfully point out that the most successful coach in NU basketball history was last seen coaching at the Merchant Marine Academy. So maybe getting left by guys who move on to bigger and better things isn't so bad.Could have had the same situation this year if West Virginia had upset Gonzaga and then beat Xavier.
I'm not comparing us and them at all. I just find it fascinating that one school has had so many coaches that go on to have great success elsewhere. I can't think of any other school that has done that, basketball or football.True. You know what is petty to me? The thought police on here that tell us that because we have a bad basketball team that we cannot delight in anyone else's misfortune. We're all supposed to go around and wring our hands in agony constantly instead of just doing what sports fans do, and that's take delight in other team's misfortunes regardless of how well your own team does. I won't apologize for it and I don't give a flying crap if it bothers you or anyone else. I am sick and fed up with those who absolutely delight in running down our own team but get sent to the fainting couches if someone dares to take any delight in somebody else's misfortunes. Running down your own team on here is not only OK, but absolutely encouraged, however criticizing anyone else is strictly verboten and violating some kind of line of fan decorum. Something is seriously wrong with that attitude to me.Why? You guys are so petty. We suck at basketball, and have the most ****** fans ever. I don't care about the sellouts, the whining is ridiculous.

In general the rapid increase in the woe is me crying on this board is a little pathetic. The negative people have taken over and seems theirs is the only voice that matters these days.
If you don't claim how bad Miles is and the basketball program overall, you are obviously dumb.
