and yet some of you are giving up on Rhule after only three years? 🙄
So you’re comparing backwards hat wearing, 2-30 against top 25 teams, ZERO big wins in his entire pathetic career, .500 win percentage, deer in the headlights on the sideline Matt Rhule to f***ing Tom Osborne? 😂 Most naive fan base in CFB. Keep supporting this s**t and we’ll keep getting s**t.

I responded to a similar statement a couple of weeks. I hate made-up sh*T. In this case someone said it took TO seven years to start winning. TO was 65-18-2 in just his first 7 years. 77% winning record. I think he was 18-7 against ranked teams. All his bowl games he played were against ranked team. Matt would never have made it even as a grad assistant for TO.

And everyone wanted TO fired 5 times over. He never won and never would have until Barry got fired. Tommy Frazier and all the recruits were headed to OU. TO would have been done and no NC’s. We’re Minnesota in a bottle.

Osborne beat 5 ranked teams in his first season as a head coach. Rhule hasn't beaten one in 3 seasons and didn't beat any at Baylor either.
Rhule now as coached a college team a full six seasons without a win against a ranked team. His three wins were against all G5 schools; Navy, Memphis and East Carolina. Not exact the best of the best. His last win was against No. 19 Navy on Dec. 3, 2016.

During those 22 seasons Dr. Tom only lost a couple of games per year. His biggest problem in the early years was Barry Switzer.
and bury was a problem cause he ran the ball and dr.tom was pass happy...it was in the late 70's dr. tom decided to run the ball..and the 80's was the winningest decade of NU football, followed by the 90's of stacking some NC's..

hopefully we get back to running the ball..and not the collapsing pocket/statue qb offense...now that uncle and mahomes jr. has moved on.

We didn’t have internet then and men could handle adversity a lot better than most of the current fairweather snowflake Husker fans.
The adversity of those nine win years. Good grief.

Both lines are a mess, and the staff is getting an overhaul going into year four. Sticking your head in the sand does not make you a good fan. It simply means you aren't getting oxygen to your brain. We have seen enough to have some very serious doubts. Year five s make or break.

It's just lazy or dumb to make statements like this. Yes there were some vocal people unhappy, like every other fan base. Nebr fans are more loyal than most.

OU was a problem because they had a lot more speed than we did.

Everyone is very aware we need to be more physical. The game has changed, whether you accept it or not.

Osborne could win today. He said himself that he'd probably run a spread offense. That's lost on the traditionalists. Osborne didn't go to the run because it was better. He did that to beat OU. He recruited speed to beat the Florida teams. His mind. That's how we got those championships. I believe that Osborne would figure out how to win in today's NIL, as well. That answer is obvious... get on your hands and knees and beg Buffett to give BILLIONS to Dear Ol' NU! LOL

please do not take my word for it..I would feel bad to lead anyone astray...

dr. tom himself addressed the beat down 0u would do on his defense running the ball, the burning of the clock, the steady movement of chains...and the slow grinding zero u would do on the blackshirts to leave them spent in the 4th quarter...mean while pass happy NU would go 3 and out, or score on occasion..but leave zero u's defense fresh as can be...then they would own the 4th quarter..

I beleive this come from his book "more then winning"
this brings to mind the need to know history, so one doesn't repeat the bad things...run the ball

That is remarkably terrible. You almost have to admire his grift. He’s convinced a lot of people he knows what he’s doing.

It's head scratching that people think Matt is our guy. It makes you wonder what other crazy **** these people believe in

"Fairweather snowflake Husker fans"? Where have you been buddy? We've had 10 years of horrible football and coaching. This kool-Aid drinking fan base has done nothing but roll over and ignor the terrible football that has been played. The blame for this current program problem falls smack dab on those "Fairweather snowflake Husker fans"....that show up every game and pretend things are getting better and that Rhule is the answer. The inept play and coaching will not change until the fans kill the fake sell-out streak and force change by not showing up.

God I wish that sellout streak would just end. Second biggest joke of this program right behind our head coach.

Back when TO was coach; “winning the big one; meant beating #1 or winning the title”

Under Rhule “winning the big one means beating a 8-3 team that’s ranked #25”

LOL. Wow how terms have changed
