but come on guys. when you looked at the schedule prior to the season every single one of you thought we would be 1-2 or 1-3 to open the season. i wanted to win as bad as any of you tonight but to say that this was as bad as croom is retarded. the fact of the matter is that we have had the #1 SOS for two years in a row and it is really hard to show improvement on the score board or in the win loss column when that happens.
the truth is, we are better this year than we have been in the last decade. i dont have the stats in front of me to back this up but i dont think we have outgained LSU on offense in yardage or 1st downs (except for maybe last year) in a long time especially in a game where we had 5 turnovers. i know everyone is desperate to have a break out season and win every game by a thousand points but lets control the "wool" a little bit. You dont go from cellar dwellar to world beater in one season at state.
the year henig had 6 ints against LSU we lost 45-0. this year we had 5 and lost 29-7 but we outgained them in their house. Yes webig have problems with off/def/and st but we are better at every position and i think the stats support that.
