It would have been so nice to have Koenning while Dana was here.

More deflection from the delusional one, who is begging for help from other WVU fans, as I continue to humiliate him with his own words. This isn't about WVU; it's about your being a total fraud and a hypocrite, Chrissy. Koenning was a great hire in your mind...until you heard about his politics, and that he was being pushed out. Now, he sucks because you're a fan boy. You, with your 30 handles, have never had any credibility on this board, and this is a prime example as to why. Stop spinning, Chris.

Don't need any help with you..

Because you vomit on this message board constantly.

The proof is on the field.
You still want to dwell on this even after the defense didn't take a step back at all. The defense actually improved.

Understanding that the decision was made by the people in charge. They have a better understanding of the people involved...

So when I see Neal Brown move on you see there was a trust in Lesley and Addae.

Brown was correct.

Vic probably out golfing, fishing or spending time at the strip club.

Still getting paid.

Be interesting if anyone gives him another chance and where

According to you P5 schools should be beating down the door

More fabrications from the liar who posted that WVU was lucky to hire Koenning, but now trashes him. Zero credibility poster. I didn't post in 2019, how lucky WVU was to have Koenning...that was you...the same fraud who trashes Koenning now that he's gone. WVU's defense is his defense. Many players who played in it last season are playing now with additional experience under their belts. They should be better. Koenning did a solid job, as I posted before. You put him in the HOF when he was in Morgantown, then threw him under a bus when he left because that's what clueless fan boys do.

No one is trashing anyone..

You are stuck on trying to run WVU though the mud.

Just haven't realized that there isn't anything to run in them in the mud with VK yet.

You are too stupid to realize this.
Improve your trolling.

If the defense goes to ****...
That is different

You keep begging other WVU fans to save you from being humiliated even more, but this isn't about WVU. Not once did I post that WVU should have kept him. This is all about you, and what a fraud and a hypocrite that you are. Just because you hate Koenning's politics, and defend WVU with every fiber of your scrawny being, doesn't mean that Koenning is a bad coach. That's the point: He was a good coach, according to you, until he left, due to politics, and now you bash him. You continue to prove that you're a delusional millennial.

He still is a good coach.

Never said he wasn't.

But the point is...

He wasn't a good enough coach that WVU is missing him.

Because of the fact that he was alienating players...
You don't see a decline without him it was a good decision

End of story

Until you see proof to say otherwise

You posted that WVU was lucky to have him, and then trashed him, Chrissy. Stop back-pedaling like a cornerback in pass coverage, as your words have hung you.

Because I wasn't totally sure who the brains behind the defense actually was.

But as of now I am leaning towards Lesley.

My original post included Lesley as well.

Koenning had success because of Jordan Lesley...
Koenning left because he was expendable.
Plain and simple.

He wasn't great enough as a coach to keep his job when he was turning players off...
So you can say he was a minus

Basically because his coaching didn't make a difference
Plus he was alienating the players
Yep, look at the 180 degree turn made by Chrissy the fraud, who posted in 2019 (see below) that WVU was lucky to hire Koenning.

He's such a libtard. Says one thing, says the opposite. Thinks everyone forgets and goes back to the original. Changes like the effing wind.

Watching Troy I was high on their DL coach and DC.
You've watched Troy play about as much as everybody else has watched them. That's a blip on the TV screen as you're dialing through the remote trying to find something to watch. You wouldn't recognize Troy if they were playing outside in the courtyard of your apartment complex. You knew even less about their DL and DC coaches when you supposedly watched them play. Instead of pretending to be a know-it-all about everything, why don't you do something constructive with your life, like developing a cure for Cancer.

😂

Rewatch the Troy vs LSU game...

Simple.

Reason why I said that I thought it was the defense that won the game and not Neal Brown.

Reason why I believed it was so important that the defensive staff came with him.

Now seeing more.of it...
People were right. Jordan Lesley is a hell of a coach.

Wonder if he is interested in Travez Moore.
He just entered the transfer portal at LSU.

Was a Mississippi JUCO guy but he is from Bastrop, LA

My original post included Lesley as well.

So, you don't think that Addae had as much to do with the change in the D as Lesley? You don't think that Vic putting together the game plans and coaching for 1 1/2 year had anything to do with reviving a completely bare D that was left by Holgs? You don't think that bringing in all the transfers in the last 2 years had anything to do with it? Matthews, Miller, Young, Addae, Buzman, Alston, Brand, Mays, Jefferson, Cowan, Fields .... all transfers in the last 2 years. Most are filling the 2 deep. Most are in the backfield where Addae is in charge.

This was about Troy and the comments I made previously...

Point was that Neal Brown needed to bring what he had from there with him

When he first came VK was probably the one I leaned to.
When everything happened the guy was removed.

Can't change that. After he left the program I don't see much of a difference.

In regards to game plan...
WVU has to change in game.

Because teams will show things they may not have ever put on tape.
That is part of holding cards back.

In the Texas game. The very first play was a play Texas never ran before

It went for 50+ yards. Texas showed something else in the run game.

It wasn't VK there to make the changes. It was the current staff.

In regards to Lesley or Addae.
I think both have their strengths from afar.
I am not close enough to the program to determine who is more valuable.

Roll with what you have...

Guy is gone. If he should have or shouldn't been fired doesn't matter anymore.

As soon as he walks out the door there is no reason to dwell on him.

Especially considering that the defense hasn't missed a beat at all...

Some still want to give credit to a man who isn't here...
But gameplans aren't determined before the season.
The staff isn't pulling a game plan that was created by Koenning off the shelf for TCU.

It is on the current staff
Also on them to adjust in game.

Story is over.
Neal Brown and the program made a choice to move forward and for whatever reason it wasn't with Koenning.

Koenning?

Gave up 38 to Missouri, 42 to Texas, 38 to ISU, 52 to Oklahoma, 38 to Texas Tech and 20 plus in four other contests including a loss .

WVU could do much better.

Dana gave up 41 to Texas, 30 to ISU, 59 to Oklahoma, 34 to Texas Tech, 45 to Oklahoma State and 34 to Syracuse. That was 2018.
