only a few short months/years ago we were able to call each other wingnuts and commies and were still able to have decent discussions about golf,gardening, religion etc. Now it seems that since the last election that everything is Trumps fault and those who support them are "pieces of ****" (direct quote)......your car breaks down...Trumps fault...your wife has her/his period....Trumps fault.....like it or not enough people in the right places voted for him and got him elected.Furthermore he is doing something that no politician has done in years......keeping his campaign promises. So you Trump haters keep on hating while the economy keeps improving and the infrastructure gets worked on and the country is made even more safe from terrorism. The next 7 years will go by very quickly

How many times have you characterized whatever I post as "stupid" or "dumb"? I'd simply prefer some factual rebuttals if something I post is wrong (and I'll admit I can most certainly be wrong) but why the personal evaluations from you of my opinions as somehow not meriting any intelligence?
Can't you just factually refute what I post if you disagree with it or find it in error without the animated insults on my intelligence?
I've got some big events coming too but not at those type of courses. My hip has been acting up and my game blows hot and cold.....81 and 92 on consecutive days on the same course and no idea why....different part of my game goes sour with no clue how to fix it....really discouraging......I blame Trump...everybody else does

No. I'm concentrating on evaluating top 100 courses (I have a goal of playing all of them) and none of Trump's courses are in the top 100. When I'm in a metro area, I try to play the best courses and in an area like NY or South Florida (where a lot of his courses are located) there are so a lot of courses that have a higher priority for me to see. Of his US courses, I'm most intrigued by Ferry Point in the Bronx. When I was in FL last year, I considered Doral but evaluated Medalist instead and actually saw Tiger there that day when he cut in front of me. It was a pretty cool thing to happen. One thing I've noticed about his courses from photos is that there is a lot of glitz (like waterfalls) which look cool but add little to shot values and resistance to scoring. Some would say it's cheesy. But I guess that's his brand.
So that's two subjective judgements you've passed onto me and surprisingly exempted yourself from RPJ.

Wouldn't your charge by definition have to include a greater amount of time you spend on here in order to accurately judge how much of my time relative to yours is deficient?
Then, you stated I am "so dumb", but again your ability to assess that seems to me by logic dictates you indeed do have superior self described "dumbness" to know the difference and therefore allows you to accurately analyze my "dumbness" as being inferior to yours.

They do not want a civil discussion. Several years, that side won all arguments with this tactic. Make a personal attack and the discussion was over. There was a fear of V. removing access. When Tipple Prick was banned, V made it known that board access was not restricted to that one side. The other side began to respond - to hell with consequences. Got rather ugly and totally unnecessary during off-season. Some good folks restricted comments to the Mountaineer Athletic board. A lot of good discussion ceased. Now, there are few remaining who simply want to enter a discussion of topics that interest them. The other side remains like the vultures they are just waiting to kick someone for the hell of it. If they fall behind, personal attacks follow an attempt to change the topic being discussed. Name calling follows shortly thereafter and then "racist" comes out and that is understood to win the argument and discussion ends. Somewhere in there, a couple more of the liberal idiots fall into the discussion to remove the one on one exchange. That is when we repeat daily "come on August".
Careful, "racist" is about to be used to win the exchange. Or, the subject will be gently changed and some of his followers will join in to remove the heat.
