Does this process include the vetting or does is some of that done while they are awaiting the resettlement process? I don't know the answer, but I'm not going to assume that this 3 month figure means that some of the vetting has not already occurred. It might mean that, but I don't know it."The regional refugee coordinator at the U.S. embassy in Amman, Gina Kassem, said that while the 10,000 target applies to Syrian refugees living around the world, the majority will be resettled from Jordan.
“The 10,000 is a floor and not a ceiling, and it is possible to increase the number,” she told reporters.
