As for recruiting Cam after all the junk that went down at Florida, I think a year at Blinn matured him and made him a better person. However, Cam's maturity didn't rub off on Diddy. All Cecil had to do was let Cam to to Auburn for free, and Cam would've given Diddy's church millions after he was drafted by Dallas and Jerruh handed him a large 7-figure salary.

and we could have easily met Auburn's bid. Heck, 200K was a bargain for what Newton has brought to Auburn's football program this year. People can call us whatever they want but we either all need to play by the same rules or somebody, somewhere needs to just say forget it and everybody can just have a free for all in recruiting. I think MSU would have gladly paid 200K or more for Cam's services if we were guaranteed no repercussions from it.

My impression after watching 30 for 30 last night, was that Dupree never had a chance. To many greedy coaches, relatives, and "Reverends" had their eyes on the prize instead of looking after the well being of the athlete and ensuring he suceeded. Looks like history has repeated itself. </p>
