It's amazing how stupid some of you are.

Agreed. We match up horribly w/ Ark and had a chance to win. My confidence in Mullen has never been higher.

I could drink a keg and still understand that Arkansas is a damn good team, and we played well enough to take them to 2OT.

Ruined my high school day recruiting experience. Still haven't forgotten.

Funny thing was, my Mom made me sit and watch NLU celebrate because she wanted me to "know what it would be like when I went to school at MSU". During my four years at MSU, we went 5-6 with wins over Bama and Ole Miss, 7-4 with a couple of nice wins over the Alabama schools on the road, and the 1998 SEC West Championship and Cotton Bowl, and finally finished up with a 10-2 Peach Bowl season. The crappiest team that we lost to was Louisiana Tech in 1996.

I was at that game. Ironically, (or coincedentally) a few years later I started a job with, none other than, NLU's backup QB in my training class. He was cool about it, and when I brought up "that WR's name"..he quickly recalled his name for me. <div>
</div><div>Long story short, Dan Mullen would have destroyed NLU!!!111<div>
</div><div>Quick reminder, ladies and gents, that NLU is now U of Louisiana Monroe. ............Monroe. </div><div>

Raymond Philyaw was the QB.

We did beat them 59-0 the next year, and that was a lot of fun. Philyaw was still on that team.
