It's been 11 years since WVU advanced past the Sweet Sixteen and is 0-3 in Sweet Sixteen games since.

With Huggins now having a .550 conference winning percentage at WVU.

The 46th ranked recruiting class according to 24/7

And 7th ranked in the Big12.

Shouldn't Lyons be getting heat for a top 10 National salary and and on "Huggins terms" with this situation?

Do you feel WVU and The State of West Virginia are both getting a great return on it's investment for the basketball facility and coaching staff?

I rarely post, but you are such an irritating POS it's hard not to comment. All you do is complain and do driveby comments from your room. I would imagine you have never played sports in your life. So to the point on Huggs and Sweet 16.....how many years was Catlett here? How many Sweet 16s did he make? One is the answer. I am not defending Huggs but it is simply more difficult to get blue chips to WVU vs other schools. We go JC and other routes to find diamonds in the rough. Sometimes we hit the mark (Press Va Guys) and sometimes we don't. As far as your hatred for Neal Brown nobody is happy with last year. But, the guy is making the necessary changes I think with the OC change to make a course correction. Give it and chance. He's a smart guy so he will get this in the right direction. He's already recruiting at a higher level. Only other option is to fire him, fire Huggs, and we end up like some of these schools that can never recover because they keep firing coaches. See Miami football as an example.

When in doubt, Name Call.

So WVU can only win with Blue Chips? And Huggins does fine because a Coach in the 90s didn't? Got it. No team can get past the 3rd round without Blue Chips. Wait didn't WVU just recruit a Blue Chip? What happened there?

Back to the name calling. Good Luck

Why is it so hard for WVU to get blue chips vs other schools.

Is Morgantown so miserable that every stud from the East Coast would rather go across country and play in Spokane?

Are the facilities so terrible that players would prefer rickety lockers, worn out couches, and 480p TVs for film just so their jersey doesn't say "West Virginia?"

Is Bob Huggins such a no-name nationally amongst 17 year olds that he can't lure 2 or 3 blue chips per decade to play for a famous, "HOF" coach?

Maybe WVU doesn’t have LaMoan James openly recruiting players to Kentucky for Nike, promising shoe deals. Or maybe assistant coaches promising money and cars to go to Kansas. Or maybe Nike shoe deals, money, car and apartment for going to Duke.

It is extremely naïve to think every program more successful than WVU is paying its players more than the Warriors. And possibly more more naïve to think WVU won't even pick up the tab at a McDonald's drive thru during a recruiting visit.

No program is squeaky clean, including WVU.

Are we talking about the Golden State Warriors? If so,? I bet Duke, Kansas and UK are at that level.
So when did I say that WVU is squeaking clean, but come on. WVU has people out there with shoe contracts handing them out when they arrive in Morgantown? I didn’t think so.
