Fitting that Lance comes back to France and they get it kicked off on July 4th. 17 the French. Too bad his team has four general classification contenders. Too many cooks in the kitchen, and none of them, outside of Leipheimer, would ever ride in support of someone else. Vandevlede, who placed 5th last year, broke a bunch of bones earlier in the year, so he may not be up there again. Predictions for the podium from me: Andy Schleck, Menchov, Evans.
Stages to watch:
1. It's an individual time trial in Monaco, and less than 10 miles. They'll be riding part of the F1 route (through the tunnel).
4. The team time trial comes back finally. Very cool event.
20. Mont Ventoux. Summit finish on the toughest climb in the tour, the day before Paris.
I know nobody cares, but cycling is less douchey than Coach, and he gets to post **** worse than this.
