but why does everyone keep posting "it's probably pretty fluid"? Oh and to keep it sports related please start using all your timeouts Dan.

I know there has been a lot of discussion about not using timeouts toward the end of the LSU game. I must be in the extreme minority, but to me, using the timeouts would have had absolutely no effect on the outcome. The game was over when LSU scored the touchdown. The idea that somehow we could have scored and maybe gotten an onside kick is just fantasy. We had not moved the football on them consistently all game....we weren't going to start. With our luck, extending the game would have resulted in nothing more that perhaps another injury.

I agree that our offense wasn't moving the ball but I think he should use them when we are on defense. Help rest the defense because 3 and outs don't help them. Basketball uses them when the other team starts to go on a run. Why can't you use them to help your defense when LSU is driving the ball? Use all your timeouts Dan. Nobody knows the reason behind "it's probably pretty fluid"?

If Auburn had this mentality, they could possibly have one win on the schedule right now. But they played with "relentless effort" until the end of regulation, and they squeaked out an undeserved win against Utah State. Had they lost that game, they may have been deflated enough to lose to the Bulldogs in a close one a week later, instead of the other way around.

and that includes using your time outs. Yeah, the odds against scoring, getting an onside kick and scoring again are real slim. But they're not 0%. Auburn did it earlier this year. And I know Utah St. isn't LSU, but LSU wasn't beating us any worse than Utah St. was beating Auburn at the time.
