It's simple really...

1. Dan runs his mouth, pisses off the Bear fans (and more importantly, the money boosters)<div>2. Dan recruits and keeps it clean.</div><div>3. Bears cheat their asses off due to #1 and getting 2 beatdowns at the hand of Dan despite him running his mouth.</div><div>4. Dan turns in the Bears.</div><div>
</div><div>Remember, there's no shortcut to the top.</div><div>

We both cheat moderately----->We start embarrassing OM (not just beating them but also talking ****)------> OM begins to cheat substantially----->They beat our *** in "recruiting"----->We turn them in for cheating too much------->they turn us in for cheating moderately-------> NCAA hammers both of us------>We both keep our place at the bottom of the SEC------>The world keeps turning

because our recruiting practices are already being looked into anyway by the NCAA from the Cam Newton affair. And besides that based on who we are signing in this current class I'm fairly confident that the guys we were going to have to cheat to keep have sailed on to other destinations.

I think we are relatively clean at this point by most big-time college football standards... but in no way do I think we are squeaky clean enough to withstand any kind of investigation.

I don't think the coaches are directly involved... but i'm positive some booster somewhere (or everywhere) is cheating for us. There is just no way to control every single over-zealous booster.

BTW, im basing most of this on common sense and 2nd-hand hearsay

The only other alternative is to cheat next year or face the same situation. I have a feeling Slive would like to make an example this offseason.

don`t know about it. If they do they aren`t passing the hat to the same people they used to.

what would you turn OM in with? A bunch of rumors allegedly overheard by someone's bud in a duck blind? The famous greenback filled safety deposit box? The mysterious black Benz? Payment plans for blue-chippers? Stock options for parents? Far-fetched some?

All I've heard is a lot of you guys trying to speculating about what went wrong, then starting to believe it. Essentially making excuses. The only real fact is that ya'll have lost recruits.

Certainly the NCAA is smart enough to notice who is getting better recruits than normal. I wouldn't be surprised if OM did get at least a fly-over.

And it isn't Mullen's fault. I think coaches have a "hear no evil" approach to payments being made.

I think the fact that the two boosters were actually named during Camgate has actually hurt you. That I believe, and it makes sense. No booster wants to show up in Sports Illustrated or ESPN.com for paying recruits.

Because of that, I don't think it makes Nutt any more criminal (unless he is directly involved) or Mullen anymore negligent for not getting guys he thought he would.

Because the fact of the matter is, it's not up to fans to turn schools in. IF the coaching staff knows that Ole Miss is cheating, I trust that they will turn you in, whether or not the SEC/NCAA do anything about it.

If cheating is as widespread as we are thinking it is and we have more evidence than just he said she said Cecil Newton type crap we may as well take a turd in the punchbowl now because this party isn't going to end well for us anyhow.

We have proven with Camgate that we aren't afraid to do something about cheating. If our staff thinks OM is dirty then Slive has already been contacted. It's that simple. And IF that has happened I wouldn't expect another blunder by that douche again.

you guys new that a shitstorm was coming and fired the first shot, which was a smart thing to do.

If Slive is the douche you're referring to then don't be surprised if he screws the pooch again. But I think he wouldn't mind throwing either of us under a bus.

it would happen again. If as much cheating is going on at Ole Miss as suspected, they will get caught. Boosters like to brag.
