the new board is all configured and showing 2004 florida game, along with dr pepper ads. while configuring around 6 - 7 they had discovery hd distorted but showing. looks great,watching it from inside DNF where its tied 2 - 2 and f moore just made a heck of a snag at 1b after pithing 6 innings. moore and bowden pitched excellent tonight.
Its up and running!

whoa. If that's the case, I'll never have to go to another Spring Game. I can just sit in front of Dudy-Noble at our pig roasting tent, drinking adult beverage.
Left the baseball game 8th inning and went over to check it out. Just showing Dr Pepper ad, but you guys aren't going to believe how big it is. Not sure how good it will look in the daytime, but will be unreal at night. Was told they were still getting bugs out to get better quality, but it is impressive. Agree - Moore and Bowden looked good.

Hopefully this will calm down a lot of people who thought they wouldn't be able to see the scoreboard from their seats.
The only people who are screwed are the people who are in the m-club (duh), and some sections of the very end of the club and skybox level..who can look at their tv's instead...and possible the ends of the upper deck.
This thing is big and bright, you can see the top of it from turning onto campus at the 82 entrance, and I can see the glow from the road driving home in the highlands. And yes, while at the game I went to the 1st base side of the press box and was watching the board from inbetween the hump and trees. Others had walked outside to the top of hill and had been watching, so there will be no problems seeing it from the hill.
The best tailgating spot just became at the corner of barr and college view, you can see everything clear.
As for the progress of the board, they are now looping a 5 second discover hd bit trying to align all the panels and adjust colors. only 3-5 panels are not on as of now, but looks to be about 1/4 of the board is not calibrated to colors right yet.
They are currently running test pattern loops on the ad boards and they look about halfway right.
Long night of testing ahead.

I went by it a couple times earlier in the night when they were showing the 2004 florida game and that jumbotron was 17ing amazing. For the ones who wont see it or have not seen it.. it is worth every penny from the display it puts out. I will be at the game tomorrow watching that sum ***** it is a gift from God.
I think you are referring to the fence covered in the M-State covering? If so thats been there for every home game.
You can see the screen clearly from dudy noble field with no problem. I think we made a damn good investment as of what has been shown tonight. People are watching it all around campus if that explains the magnitude of how good it looks. They have been shown discovery HD and they showed the state florida game from 2004 earlier. I must say season tickets are well worht purchasing just for it. It is beautiful
