Laugh all you want. Right now, UNC and IU would both kick our ***.

IU yes. UNC i’m not so sure about. I think they’d beat us but it wouldn’t be a route. They’re just not that good. They’ve struggled in every game.

We all know how Carolina is they run and run but this game feels like IU should be up 20+. They could still come back but IU is getting whatever they want on offense and playing solid defense.

Here comes the refs to get Jackson Davis out. Can’t let it get too out of hand. I think he dropped his arms there but still kinda the Ticky Tac stuff we get called for.

IU is really good, right now they would beat Kentucky by double digits
Cal needs to watch this tape. They pass the ball really well, movement on offense always and everyone has a purpose for where they are on the court. No pounding it at the top of the key for 10 seconds, swing it right, swing it left, get it back and drive into nothing. Pass it to a shooter who’s covered, or force it into Oscar for a turnover or a really hard shot. They also team rebound, which we don’t do, everyone expects Oscar to get them all.

All good points man, if fricking IU can adapt to college basketball is pathetic that Kentucky can’t

The worst part is Cal has the program held hostage for 40 million dollars thanks to barnhardt signing off on that absurd contract.

Barnhardt got lazy and made that decision so he wouldn’t have to think about the basketball program. He needs to be held accountable for that bull ****.

I love it when UNC or Duke is down by 6 or more at the end of games and their opponent isn't in the Bonus because the SUCKY Refs give them EVERY call for the first 38 minutes of the game!!

🤣 🤣 🤣

They did look really good tonight, but keep in mind where the game was played. Assembly Hall when the crowd is in that frenzied state might be the best home court advantage in all CBB (I wish we could see Rupp like that more often).

IU always seems to play above its norm in those games. But it’s a different story when they’re playing at some distant neutral site in March.

UNC was fortunate they got a home whistle on the road because they go whipped and only kept it around 11 because of the stripes.

Cal needs to watch film of the Hoosiers running a Post offense!!!

All of their shooters are ready as soon as they receive a pass!!!

It's BEYOND ridiculous how much BETTER IU looks than we do right now.
I thought the same thing, they play off Jackson Davis and get him great entry passes or set him up for an easy layup and he doesn’t float around the perimeter all game. He’s ready to catch and pass out of a double team and if they double he swings the ball to whoever is open for an open 3 or drive to the basket. It looked very nice.

Spacing, Rub plays, a PG that can make a Jumper or floater if the defense collapses on Davis and NO standing around WATCHING!!!

It will piss you off watching a team like IU do it with HALF the talent and we can't.

He’s a classic old-school post player. He’s a really skilled and smart player in the paint …but he wants nothing to do with the perimeter.

Both TJD and Oscar would’ve been in huge NBA demand back in the 90s. But in 2022 they’re told to come back to the school because they’re not what today’s NBA is looking for.

I don’t know about half the talent, I’d take TJD, Johnson, Reneau, and Hood-Schifano over Collins, Toppin, Wheeler, and Ware. Not to mention Galloway is like Thiero in that he makes plays when he’s out there but he actually gets clock.

Yeah no doubt both of them would have been easy 1st rounders. I think TJD could still have a chance if he shows some kind of jumper because he’s so athletic and blocks shots. He also grabs his fair share of rebounds. Oscar is the opposite, not super athletic but has way better touch on his jumper around 17 feet and rebounds like a maniac.
