His K/BB ratio is a bit weird considering everything else, especially if you add HBP in there also. He won the B1G Final as well as the clincher against FSU.

This guy is a "chase" pitcher. If we are not patient at the plate, he will eat us alive. If we will work counts we could draw some walks and get him out of there early. This is quite the chess play, because they know we have been expecting the other guy. Oh well, got to get out there and get it done.

Surely we prepared for this guy, though. He seems like he likes to work you off the plate. You are right, though... This guy can put you on base, and I think that's absolutely how we need to play him.

Likewise, I am glad Cohen hasn't released our starter. Not sure it matters that much, but it makes IU spend a little more time preparing for a few different possibilities.

Hopefully we don't have same ump behind the plate as first game because he had a wide zone and it would work to a pitcher like this advantage.
