Entering politics at most levels is done simply to enrich oneself or friends and family. There could be no other real motivation. And using the Clinton's as exhibit A, it can be and is done.

Back in the 90's I was involved in local politics in the Richmond area. The nonsense is incredible....cell towers on county supervisor's land, highway interchanges moved to land owned by an elected state official. Concession stands built on county properties at taxpayer expense and run by friends of the elected officials (of course little to no rent paid).

Politics is filthy.

I live in Plano, near Dallas. On the Dallas city Council is a member whose name is John Wiley price. He is thoroughly corrupt. I know this firsthand through his reported business dealings. He knows in advance were roads are going to be built and uses surrogate buyers to buy up some of that property. They then later sell for a huge profit and his name is never on the deed.

I'm not saying she should be crucified, only that she improperly used her position as a federal employee to promote a private company. Regardless of her intentions, it was wrong. Once is an honest mistake, and I'll grant her that. She should have known better though.

Because of Obama and the ACA, we ahve the house, senate and WH. That is the real accomplisment of Obama, Republican control.I just wish they had the balls to completely eliminate the aCA and then say, let's start over.
