2. Coached in successful programs at Nebraska
3. Successful Coordinator
4. Now becoming a successful head coach

He took Buffalo's sorry *** (traditionally) to Missouri and only lost by 21...also lost by 11 to Pitt....Buffalo was God-awful before he got there...He has them winning now and competitive with BCS schools.....

Now THIS is the type of coach that deserves 5 damn years leading our program...not the crap we have gone through

Getting Buffalo competitive is a great accomplishment. From 1999 when they moved up to Div. I-A through 2006, they were a combined 12-79. They're 10-11 in 2007-2008 so far. I'll add another good reason to hire him.
