I've crunched the numbers just for fun

There is no scenario where we can win the SEC West (the way we did in '98 , not how Ole Miss did in '03)

We lose all two and three-way ties at 6-2 and 5-3.
We lose four and five way ties at 5-3.

Losing to LSU and Auburn kills us in the tiebreakers, since we'd likely be involved in any tie with them, and that's two division losses.

Meanwhile, a 1-3 Kentucky team has a great shot, needing just an upset of Mississippi State and a South Carolina loss to Arkansas, Florida or Tennessee to win the East.

We win out. LSU and Auburn lose to UM and Bama. LSU loses to Auburn and Auburn loses to Georgia.

First we have to win out in the SEC or it's over:

Then we would need the winner of the Auburn LSU game to lose to Ole Miss. If that happened it would get interesting because Auburn and LSU would both have two other tough games.
