Has the SEC's Western champ ever been left out of the tourney?

I'm sure they have, I think OM recently, but am lazy.

That's why winning the West is important to us. I'd rather be the West's #2 seed in the tourney though.

And my prediction wasn't just based on one game, but watching us all season.

Co-West champs...no NCAA Tourney- thats why winning the West is not all that important

We've won the West a few times under Stansbury and what has that gotten us? Repeated early exits from the Dance

4 of the 6 West teams have losing records in SEC play the last 10 years...with a couple 30 games under .500

We may be winning the West, but Bama, LSU, Vandy, Tenn, Kentucky, and Fla have all advanced to the Sweet 16 or farther in the last 5 years

All winning the West does is seed you for the SEC Tourney and get you an opening day bye

but some here act like that is some huge badge of honor that we have and just because we attain that, everything else is ok...and that just isnt true

I'm going to be the same way about Cohen and Mullen as I am with Ricky...

If we arent in a bowl game, i'm going to be pissed once he has been here a couple of years and has put the mark on his program.

If we arent in a Super in 2011, i'm going to be raising hell about Cohen....

by year 3 on those guys, the top 16 and top 25 in the country is the goal every year for our programs...its time we have expectations and quit this "but we are State, that isnt feasible for us" losers attitude.
