I've taken the last 30 minutes to read the accusations being leveled at PSU...

Figured when I started reading it that it would be a clinical description and not too tough to take, since it was just words in black and white. It's monstrous. It's a cliche to say that you wish you could un-read something, but if I could hit "delete" in my brain I would. The two biggest things to me were 1) that all the accusers describe the exact same m.o. for Sandusky - the basement sleepovers, the "workouts" followed by showers, etc. - and 2) the anal sex with the little boy in the shower that the grad student walked in on. Driving home from work last night I tried to ask myself, in a soul-searchingly honest kinda way, what I would've done if I'd been in that grad student's shoes; I'm 99% sure I would've walked in and put a stop to it immediately and then called the police. The other 1% would be that I would've turned around and walked to the closest phone and called the cops and waited on them to get there. Either way - I would've called the cops.<div>
</div><div>We all talk with righteous indignation about perceived football-related crap that other teams do on the sly (Cecil, etc.) and say that they should get in trouble. This is so shockingly and ridiculously wrong, and on such a completely different criminal plain, that I honest to god don't know what you could do to Penn State and the people involved that would be punishment enough. But a good start would be to shut the whole thing down and send some people to jail for the rest of their lives.</div>
