1. Don't bash ice hockey

2. Don't bad mouth Greg Byrne right now.

Stay away from those two things, and you'll be fine

was quite as easy as it has been made out to be. I mean, Cohen did have the guy he respected the most telling him to NOT take the job and then was offered a buttload of money by UK.

Cohen is one of the top young coaches in the country. I'm not sure that we wouldn't have hired him with or without MSU ties.

Which means he was an AD at 33, right?

Let's see, he took the UK job at 42 after four years at Oregon State as AD, so he would have been....what exactly?

So far, Byrne has removed the mediocrity from our athletic department - Polk and Croom. Did he piss in your Cheerios? Sleep with your wife? Kick your kitten? Fire your favorite coach?

TN is hiring a 33 year old head coach for their football program. A legit SEC football program with enough cash to get who they want.

Tickler... eventually you'll eat your words about this one. Byrne, regardless of his age or "athletic director experience", is going to do the things this university needs to stay competitive. And in case you were wondering about his family (ok well you probably weren't, but read it anyway, jackass) here is a little info about them. His dad: AD for Texas A&M (known fact) His older brother: THE VICE PRESIDENT OF VISA (hm, must be a smart guy) Greg: Was in the Bulldog Club for two years and brought in a **** load of money. With what he's already done and his family's obvious success... yeah, I think he'll be a good one.
