They did something similar on the Dan Mullen show. Very touching.

Loved the Sonic Drive of the game. Jack's drive back to Tupelo. And I remember very well listening to the game where Felker slipped into the endzone for 2 points against Memphis St to win it at the end. That was an exciting game and Jack described it perfectly.

That is a tough bit to listen to, especially the last 30 seconds. Crazy how you can love a man so much that you didn't know personally even though he almost feels like your grandaddy. How lucky we are that Jack chose us to share his life with us and gave us his heart, soul, legacy, and a clear picture of the events unfolding on the playing field/court. Plus he left us Jim Ellis. I hope one day in the far far future we will be honoring Jim just as we have Mr. Cristil. He truly was a class act who loved our great university.
