He did really well on the interview; everytime I hear him on the radio I wonder why people want him gone.

Gave a decent rundown of our starting lineup and what kind of players they are and what they've been through this year. Said the way most teams attack Varnado is to go right at him, said Stewart is a good athlete who's learned to play the game, Bost like most freshmen went through a learning curve, and that Turner is a hustle player who gets a lot of loose basketballs.

The host asked him if he had talked to Stans about concerns vs UW, but said he hadn't since Sunday he pretty much went straight home and "did laundry blah blah blah" and that yesterday when they were boarding the plane they had a lot of people including the band, cheerleaders, admin, team, etc. so he hadn't had time to talk to him.

Asked him about previous trips to the west coast and what kind of effect it had on the team, and Jack pretty much said we were awful in every game but mostly because the teams were very bad.

He did say while he was there for the UW vs State football game that he had the best apple he'd ever had in his life lol

is his eyesight. I think his mind is still pretty sharp for a guy that's well into his 80's. He keeps up with the action a lot better in basketball games, because he's a lot closer to the play and can see it better.

Beat Santa Clara and Utah on what I would call a hostile floor. Every Mormon and his wives were there.

And if Tyus Edney doesn't make the redamndiculous dribble drive the length of the floor, UNFREAKINGUARDED and lay it up as the clock expires, we play 8th seed Missouri in the sweet 16 instead of being buried by enventual national champ UCLA and their coach, Cheatin Jim Harrick.

At the end with Turner, he basically tells he good luck but I hope the Huskies win.

Would any talk show host in Jackson do that for State? I don't know I am asking. It has been my experience that most talk show host are biased for the home team. Would not surprise me if those in Jackson were not and cited journalistic integrity of some garbage like that.

That's not true. I wasn't there.

I have never heard another radio announcer say so many times "And the pass is caught!................(about 5 seconds later)............. no wait, it was dropped." He pulled another one of those as I was racing home last weekend during the LSU game. I can't remember the exact play, but I think that he announced that an MSU player had scored and been fouled. Then about five seconds later, he realizes that it was called a charge.

Anyway, I love the guy and even the younger guys screw calls up, but Jack can drive you batty sometimes.

Did anyone else get a little aggravated during Sunday's championship game when the ref clearly called 10 seconds on State in the second half? The announcers originally state that there's a timeout. Then as the players start walking the opposite direction (clearly indicating that is was turnover), the announcers continue to debate for about 10 seconds as to whether it was timeout or 10 second call.
