Jackie Sherrill and Billy Brewer both agreed about DeVinner

BOTH said that if DeVinner claimed this junk was happening, where's the Youtube? Where's the pictures? It's simply his word against someone else's. In this day and age, people can't get away with anything without someone recording it on his I-phone, and we know DeVinner probably had about a dozen on his body.

Whether its politics, sports, or some crazy sexual escapade, rule of thumb is: Pics or it didn't happen.

The only things that concerns me are:
1. Will hasn't suited up.
2. The Old Waverly receipts.

The Old Waverly receipts could be problematic, but Oregon did much more for a guy in a similar situation and that whole thing seemed to vanish completely.

Regarding Will not suiting up, only about 5 true freshmen have suited up, so I wouldn't read too much into that.

Not suiting W. Redmond up is the smart thing to do. Even if this is all proven to be Bovine Fecal Matter, it is better not to expose your program to the possibility of vacating games. Personally, this is an over sensationalized Kenny Rogers v. 2.0.

I know what you are saying about proof, but after losing a coach over it, there is no way we are squeaky clean

Supposedly Redmond is hinting on twitter that he will be at Troy and he may be

playing.

There's no doubt that there was wrong doing by Herring and Mirando but Byron's story keeps getting bigger and bigger to the point of it starting to get silly. He's clearly in it to get attention. He's also doing a pretty good job of absolutely ruining any ideas of advancing in his career. He's going to be radioactive.

I read that. He said something like "there is going to be some shocked people soon sat."

Can't believe we would play Will unless we've gotten a formal ruling from the NCAA on his eligibility. Absolute best case is that all restitution was made long ago for whatever was determined to have happened and there is no suspension to the worst case of him not being allowed to play at MSU at all and then there is everything in between. Believe MSU will have to know something before Redmond will be allowed on the field.

Now those are two reputable sources. Two guys who got their prior schools into NCAA trouble and eventual probabation taking up for cheaters. What else would you expect from them?

DeVinney's entire career is on the line and he is losing credibility by the day. Walk through this with me. If he is pimping players, which I personally believe he is, all the schools now stay away from him because of his mouth. If he is not pimping players, schools and players and parents still stay away from him. No college program will hire him as a coach or go near him.

You have to see his days are numbered as a 7 on 7 hanger on.

Rooms are comped every week at Ole Waverly and there was no booster there so I would assume this may end up being a moot point. The same thing holds true at the restaurant. If the owner comped a meal to someone and no booster was there, then what does it matter? Devinner is digging a hole and it is getting deeper.

Whether he's pimping kids or not. Players are going to want nothing to do with a guy that they fear will tattle on them for getting a $100 handshake. If the players wont associate with him... yup, the guy's done.

Perhaps Mullen doesn't even like the "appearance of impropriety" whether Mirando actually did anything or not. Maybe even spending time with the booster Herring was enough for that appearance to raise its head, and staying clean and avoiding anything even shady-looking may have been one of Mullens' conditions of employment. We appear to have gotten a better coach in that position in the end anyway.

He's also a true Fr. and alot of those guys like Richie Brown and Benequiz Brown haven't played either. He may not be ready yet to waste a redshirt year.

They are the perfect guys to ask....

who knows more about cheating then those two? If they say he's not reputable, then you can damn well believe it.

I hope we play Redmond. He's going to be "the guy" next year. Might as well bust him out.

Not only that, but it says "17 you" to Joe Shat and it gives every recruit we have that Freeze has been calling up a sense of confidence.

I think I've heard elsewhere that redshirt seasons can't be used to cover up suspension. So, imagine Redmond's punishment was a suspension for 2 games by the NCAA; that would mean he's already started his first year of eligibility by not playing the first two games (again, under the premise that a redshirt season can't be used to skip a suspension). If that's the case, might as well start playing him as soon as possible this season to get him experience. In short, if he plays this weekend, I think it's clear that he was under a 2 game suspension, and therefore will play (instead of redshirting) so as to maximize his experience for his first year of eligibility.

Feel free to correct me if I'm obviously wrong, as I'm simply offering a potential answer based on possible erroneous information.
