....problems with ESPNHD and ESPN2HD? For me, both channels have had intermittent audio cutouts and occasional picture freeze-ups for the last couple of days. Yesterday it seemed to be corrected by the evening, but today it started doing it again. I also noticed this happening on another HD channel. The rest of my HD channels seem fine.

I'm asking to see if this is just my problem, or if it's widespread. I called Comcast and couldn't get a straight answer from anyone. I'd like to be able to watch games this weekend without this crap occurring. Damn it, I should have already switched to satellite.

Man...Comcast sucks a huge fat one in Jackson. I have them out here every two weeks because my digital box blows. They have replaced it 6 times and it still 17s up. As a matter of fact they are coming out on Friday between 5-7 to fix it.

No signal degradation b/c of long coaxial runs, just beautiful HD. You won't regret it

The funny thing is it's doing the same thing again tonight. Like yesterday, it was screwing up during the day and now it's okay during the evening hours. I've been watching the Colorado-WVU game without any problems.

Just curious, do you use a Dolby 5.1 sound system? I do, and if there's been one constant problem with Comcast it's been digital audio cutting out.

I did have problems in the past due to an improper install by a lazy Cable tech.

Make sure you have your HD box hooked straight to where your cable comes into the house with no splitters on that line & no extra cable laying around...

Otherwise call and raise hell...

I'm not in Jackson but I get the same issues. Crystal clear in the bedroom and pixellating in the den. The den is on it's 3rd HD box.
