The Mississippi Senate will honor Jarvis Varnado today at 4:30 at the State Capitol for his shot block record. The public is encouraged to attend. If you would like to go, go to the forth floor senate gallery and be there at 4:30. A nice little crowd of fans there would be really cool to send Jarvis off.

The legislature went home til the 20th. Pretty much just staff at the Capitol with the occcasional Legislator.

and they are just doing the best they can today- They are not in session but are doing it tday because it worked best for everyone including JV. Hoping to have a little crowd there, the University supposedly tweeted it too.
