Im not sure what’s more sad, the leadership that failed the city and the water plant or the total lack of simple research by the news media to find the truth.
And what's even worse is, nobody cares. It's all about giving good paying jobs to friends and cronies, instead of to qualified people.Jackson is a $300 million enterprise yet its leaders lack any management experience.

Only mayor Jackson had in the last 25 years that even attempted this was Chockwe Sr., and we know how that turned out. As radical as he was, he actually was smart and realized he needed help. His son? Fart. All the radicalism but none of the sense. Many governments actually hire at least marginally qualified people to run things. And many of those at least attempt to halfway do the job rather than just ignore it.
We have some media problems in this state, but the national news is way worse for just jumping on a story with no research whatsover.
