The Veaze quotes him:

<font size="2" face="georgia,palatino">
"Notwithstanding (NCAA spokesman) Mr. (Bob) Williams' misinformed comments of Friday, the requested information is indeed new information and supplements information that has been provided previously," Jackson wrote in a text message. "Several of the document requests resulted from the Eligibility Center's lack of understanding of information that has been previously provided. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">For example, several company vendor numbers that were utilized by Reebok as internal accounting numbers were mischaracterized by the Eligibility Center as family bank accounts</span>. Reebok has since corrected the Eligibility Center's error through the provision of an explanation of internal company policy."</font>

This does not surprise me.

I find it rather disturbing that Sidney is the only Blue Chip yet to be cleared to play. We need that fat boy on the floor.

is that I'm sure that Sidney isn't an amateur. I'm sure he's taken money from agents and handlers. But I'm just as sure that if the NCAA had held the rest of the top 25 recruits in the nation to this much scrutiny, they'd have found at least a dozen more that were't amateurs. I don't mind them trying to enforce their rules, just do it consistently for everyone.

I personally think that he probably has cheated at some point. But the fact that they are keying in on him just makes me wonder how in the world all of these other guys like Wall got cleared almost instantly, and how they can validate the fact that Sidney's situation is much different than anyone elses. I hate the "We are MSU" thing, but I think at this point we are even past that. I think they have a vendetta against Sidney and Jackson and are personally trying to screw them since Jackson has been bad-mouthing the NCAA through this whole process.

We're just collateral damage. They'd have been just as much after Sidney's *** if he'd gone ahead and signed with USC. That's why USC dropped him. They didn't need this kind of publicity. It's a little different for us since none of this is about us.

Standard Operating Procedure for the NCAA. It always has been with regard to NCAA violations and now they are just taking that principle over to determing amateur status. I've come to understand that with the NCAA the verdict is normally determined LONG before the investigation starts. Good gracious, you know they had already determined that Sherrill and MSU were guilty before they started really investigating. Took them 3 years to find enough ticky-tack crap to justify the penalties they already had waiting for us. That's why I'm still not optimistic on Sidney. I believe the NCAA has already determined him to be a non-amateur based on opinion of the situation and all the presented documentation is likely not going to change that sentiment. Now some of these other guys, who may be as much or more guilty, they are not really interested in (likely because of who they signed with) and so they clear them no matter that incriminating evidence on them is right in front of their face.

Sidney is cleared to play - until the NCAA finds some dirt in a continuing investigation in which case its a strike against MSU and we could face probation (provided Sidney has been playing for us).

Don: If you are truly trying to get your client cleared, and you are fairly close on the paperwork, please stop trying to make the ncaa look like bumbling *** monkeys in your text and email statements -we already know that they are. They have a history of holding personal, emotional grudges, and when you point out their incompetence, it just makes that even worse. Now that we are this close, why not say "we got some documents cleared up that may have been a bit confusing - it appeared to the ncaa that they were personal records vs. reebok records - we simply had reebok issue a certified statement that they were indeed reebok documents - I apologize for this oversight, and am hopeful that this will satisfy the ncaa's request - we look forward to having this young, student athlete cleared to fulfill his dream of playing collegiate basketball" HOWEVER - IF DON KNOWS THAT THERE IS NO WAY THAT RENARDO IS GOING TO BE CLEARED, WEAR THEM OUT.

The NCAA answers to no one. They will not be made a fool of, because they can do whatever they desire. Just like the IRS. Both are rogue organizations.

Like Wall at UK and Stephenson at Cincy. They both were supposed to be unable to play and then Boom they both are eligible. This is ********...
