some of those carolina batters were seen mouthing "wow" after some of those pitches. that was absolutely filthy. its nice to see someone come in and pitch their best in high-pressure situations.

Pretty crazy how someone can go from a decent Sunday starter to a dominant reliever at that degree. Papelbon-esk.

Has to do with the pitcher's mindset/approach. Lingo wants to go 100% the moment he steps on the mound, which is when he's at his best. When he was a starter, he had to dial it back to try to preserve his arm, but that messed up his feel and command for his pitches.

I'm not questioning how, I've seen it done enough times to know it can happen... But I remember Lindgren being crucified last season. And now he's throwing a 91 mph slider and wrecking everyone's Christmas morning.

Just good to see. Everyone knew the guy would be good. I don't think anyone realistically thought he'd be a top 50 prospect.

Absolutely. Always knew he had the stuff, and it's great seeing it come together this season. Definitely has a shot to be on a big league roster come August, which is insane.

I say that as someone who saw him in high school.

I think some changes are going to come with scholarships, and when MSU has X amount of full scholarships to give I don't ever see us losing on a prospect. Ever.

He's definitely

gotten it together, which is great for him and us. It's frustrating that it seems to take 3 years before our guys reach their potential, sometimes.
