Tampa may have thought they were just bringing him up for a week or two due to injury. But I think we all knew if he ever got to the show he wasn’t going back down.

Hows it not a stolen base? Say the runner gets such a good jump that the catcher has no chance so he just holds the throw. No stolen base?
Perfect example of a player being able to make the players around him better. Mangum is definitely special and love seeing that kind of effort.
Catchers indifference usually happens at the end of the game when a team is down a bunch of runs and they get someone on First and the runnerjust steals second and the catcher doesn’t even make any attempt or doesn’t even look like he wants to attempt to throw.

That's gonna change starting next year. Looks like teams will get 2 challenges per game, if they challenge and are right, they don't lose a challenge.
Pretty funny that both of the two worst MLB ball/strike calls in modern history involved MSU Bulldogs. What they gave to JP France when he was pitching, they took away from Jake Mangum, plus another 0.05”. This is perhaps the most convincing case of the Injuns running things.
Nothing can ever be too good for MSU athletes for too long, even in their sports “afterlife” in the pros. A balance must always be restored when things get too far out of place from the natural order.
That was the most Jake Mangum looking Jake Mangum play I've ever seen.
I've seen him do this exact play, safe call and all hundreds of times. They are going to find out, if they haven't already, that he's not a guy they can send back to AAA ball.
Jake Mangum is the prototype role model I want my sons to emulate on the ball field.
