Feldhaus originally chose Belmont over Northern Kentucky and Jacksonville State.

Would be a multi-year developmental piece that would likely not play as a freshman (or sophomore) and would require patience and physical development.

Look at the school choices. He isn't SEC caliber unless he somehow isn't showing a gear he has. We don't have the luxury of hoping this guy comes along. We need to focus our resources and time getting the guys needed for a championship.

Kid is a really good physical athlete. A whole lot like his dad but more athletic.
I'd take him and take a chance. He's 6-8 220. Let him be a work in progress type kid. He has UK in his blood. As a bench piece he could develop into something. If not, with that size he could help us in scrimmages.
Be worth the risk to me. He's a very good athlete. Better than his Dad from all accounts.

It takes more athleticism to be good at golf than most people realize. Double that first statement for a 6'8" guy. If he's really 6'8" he's probably a good enough athlete to eventually be a good player. Not next year, but eventually.

I will always be for offering Kentucky Mr Basketball a scholarship. With the understanding they are 12-15 on the roster and would have to fight day and night to ever see the floor. Somebody HAS to fill those spots, and it is a lot easier to fill them with in state guys than to try and pay someone enough to do it from out of state. We aren't exactly gonna recruit and pay 5* players with any amount of luck to sit on the end of practice squad. He can't be any worse than Perry (at 6'8").

He’s very athletic, has good size along with a nice jump shot. Could end up better than Noah and Perry just because of his length and athleticism

Maybe Barnhart is wanting them to go after 2 sport athletes to save money on scholarships. You know, more money for the corn hole team.

OK so I googled "Jake Feldhaus 247 recruiting". Doesn't even have a page. Has never happened before when I searched for a player -- concerning.

I then go to 247 and look up BBall recruiting by state -- no mention of this kid in the 2026 class.

So basically UK fans are excited for a 0 star. Size, athleticism, genetics, why not?

Holy god we've become a joke.

He brings more to the table right now than Noah or Williams. People are too caught up in the stars beside a players name....how has that worked out recently.

Nobody has said UK is recruiting him or that he’s wanting to even be recruited by UK.

If Kentucky DID recruit him I think he could be a good development piece with time. He is a better athlete and defender than Noah.

I'm not sure his Dad had any stars either but he was a pretty good player. All for naught anyway as he is EKU bound. Good for him.
He does seem a bit slow but that is a conditioning issue. Whatever.
I just want talent. Homegrown works for me.
