I think something that is going overlooked is the fact that the Belmont coach is heading to Kansas State. That's probably the reason he wanted a release.

We need cheap players 9-12.

If he develops into something, it’s like finding a $100 bill blowing in the breeze.
But again, how cheap?

You must get the studs first. That determines the rest of the budget.

If Pope screws up again and misses the stud targets, you better at least spend big on depth.

Trent is a good basketball player- Stop degrading young players because you’re jealous.
Don't be an idiot Dude. What are you, Trents Dad or Uncle? Where did I say Noah sucks? I said I don't know if Feldhaus is better than Noah or not. Its a valid question because Noah was our 11th man and didnt play the last month, so if he isn't better than Noah, he can't help us next season.
If we were looking at a starting PG or SG, I would ask the question are they better than Lowe or Chandler. Saying that doesn't mean I think they suck, because I don't, but if they aren't better, we may as well keep what we have.
As to the dumb*** "youre jealous of Noah" crap, no, I most certainly am not lol. I played college ball, Not better than Noah, but did all the same. I also have a great career and a beautiful family, so my friend, no, I am most certainly not jealous of a 20 year old lol

Noooooooo don't do it
Can’t wait to have him, Noah, and Jasper on the floor at the same time. We totally won’t blow a 10 point lead in 1 minute. Maybe if he wants to sit the bench for a couple years and develop awesome. I don’t trust that Pope wouldn’t shove him in when he’s not ready though. I don’t want to have to see negative stuff about any more legends. Let’s just get the level players we need.

From a development standpoint I think most freshmen would benefit from playing their first year or two at a mid-major and then transferring to a Power 5 school. I suspect Feldhaus, Noah, Perry and even Johnson would or would have benefited from that scenario. Moreno's development probably benefited more from the size and physicality of a Power 5 conference, plus he got tons of playing time.

I refuse to get excited for ANY if these off season transfer announcements. Kentucky will likely offer feldhouse market value, or close to it.. so I dont feel confident at all that Pope is gonna be the deal breaker to make him come here. Hes gonna get say $1mil from a dozen schools, hed be stupid to pick Pope unless its all mid majors.
