A couple of days ago, the Staunton paper reported that Phillips was leaving Staunton High School after three seasons. Today the follow-up story is that he has accepted the head coaching and Athletic Director positions at his alma mater Bath County. As most of you know, he led the Chargers to the 2001 state championship and later had a successful career as quarterback at William and Mary.
