I hope so, but I don't think he will. Not only was he not very good in the NFL but he's injured. I think he overachieved as a 7th rounder. Maybe he can make a really bad team as a backup.
There's already talk of teams picking him up.

He received quite a bit of praise for his play two years ago. He is not superstar and won't make a pro bowl but he is definitely worth at least a backup role when he isn't injured.
Haven't watched much pre season and didn't know about them using the 3-4. What is cox playing in it? I always thought he'd be great as a 3-4 end with his speed. He's a little small to be a hole pluggin nt.
He was great when he debuted for them, but never got better. Their fans have been expecting him to get cut for a while now. I'm a huge fan of his on and off the field and I hope the best for him, but I'm being realistic here.
