I've read alot of posts lately about qb and rb next year, but who replaces chaney? Does Chris White move to the middle or maybe Mike Hunt? (Greatest name ever)

I think the plan is to slide White to the middle and find a replacement on the outside. I believe Paul Jones has said Deonte Skinner might have the upper hand there going into spring practice.

See Jamar Chaney. While he wasnt a redshirt he did start at the Mike linebacker his second year on campus.

Either that, or try Bo Walters at MLB. He's not terrible, but he has experience when he filled in for Jamar last year. But White has experience at MLB in JUCO, and I've heard Skinner is very good, so having a KJ, White, and Skinner LB core wouldn't be a bad thing.

that they really like White on the outside and are at least thinking about Skinner in the middle. They love Skinner - he will play somewhere.

seriously though, he really impressed me with his speed this year. He tracked down a few speedsters that i never thought he would have a chance at.

He caught an SEC RB from behind too this year down the sideline and I cant remember who it was. Either way, I agree with you. His speed on the outside will help out a lot more I think if we keep him on the outside and move Skinner to middle.

but I'm not sure about quickness. I remember quite a few times that he was out of position in pass coverage. I like White in the middle and then putting a converted safety (like mike) on the outside.

Well I keep hearing that Skinner is gonna be the man in the middle. Unless Bohanna comes in here and tears it up, Deontae is gonna be it.

to run sideline to sideline instead of limiting him to half of the field. Plus KJ has the size to fill gaps and take on blockers. He's our best pro prospect on next years defense and mike linebacker is usually where you want your best linebacker and leader.
