They've shown steady improvement over the past three or four years, where they went 1-9, 1-9, and then 5-6 last year. From what I remember, their current coach hasn't been with the team for more than 3 or 4 years, and they've steadily gotten better as a program since his arrival. They aren't a team that would do well in the 4A playoffs yet, but that being said if a team can't shut down Bishop they can win games. Given their schedule this year, I could see them getting to 7-3 or 8-2. Probably the worst they will do is 6-4.
All that said, they do play in Frederick County which has been a dead zone for football for schools not named Sherando for the past several years. Still not too sure what to expect from them seeing that the one decent team they played ran them out of the stadium in week one.
I think Strasburg can give them a tough game if both teams are on point. You always have to worry about a team that's coming off two wins heading towards conference play against two opponents that on paper they should beat. I have no doubt that they'll squish the cupcake in Hedgesville, but this is a very winnable game for Strasburg.
