Jamie Arnold, who is a projected Top 5 pick in the MLB draft, is the starting pitcher tonight for FSU against the Bulldogs in the Tallahassee Regional. For every strikeout he makes then money will be raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the kid who has inspired him to do this is in that 10% that does not have a miracle drug. So every strikeout literally is saving lives as money is needed to go research to develop a miracle drug for the remaining 10% of the CF population.

Chartity funds should not be tied to a players performance in a team sport during competition. Make an announcement at the end of the season of the player's support and cut the check.

Well he made a **** done for his charity tonight. I witnessed guys watching fastballs and swinging at out of zone breaking balls live.
Funny thing: State pitching struck out 16 while walking only 14. And those 13 LOBs for FSU never sniffed home plate keeping the score to just a 7 run loss.
