"hey whats up bulldawg nation? i just wanted to drop a few lines thanking you guys for all your love and continued support. im still here in moscow russia playing for cska. right now im resting before a big game against one of our rivals spartak! we play in a cpl hours. im sure its pretty early there. if you are awake you can watch the game live on this website. http://yatv.ru/pbltv/ u can also check out the replay of the game if u miss it. the game starts at 9am ct your time and 10am est. i have had a chance to watch a few games this yr and it looks like stans is losing control of the team. we got teammates fighting, teammates fighting in practice, people mouthing off at coach, people not going to class, people tweeting about how they are not happy, players transferring but u do have to think about why are all these people leaving msu. just think of how many players have left when i came in 05! its something to think about! im sure people are starting to really wonder if stans should be fired! honestly speaking i believe when coach kirby left a lot of the respect also left with the program if u know what i mean but hopefully the guys can salvage the season and make a run in the sec tournament. u never know what can happen. well im bout to get ready for my game! hit me up and let me know what u think of the bball program this yr and what u think will happen next season."

" honestly speaking i believe when coach kirby left a lot of the respect also left with the program if u know what i mean"

The players have zero respect for The Recruiter and havent for years- and thinking they will suddenly start next year because Rayvern and Kodi graduate is ridiculous. The problems of this season are more about losing Kirby than it is anything Rayvern and Kodi have done.

So, we have former players Hyche write "the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results" and Gordon talk about what a ***** The Recruiter is and he commands no respect from the team...

Next season's implosion should finally be enough

Greetings to Comrade Jamont! Yeah, interesting for him to comment on our program now considering he played a pivotal role in the current situation with his me-first play and failure to submit to the team ethic. His presence and actions brought to light some of the chinks in the armor of Stans' coaching (failure to maintain team discipline and failure to recruit "quality" individuals). Team Jamont was more than Stans or our team could handle.
<div>
</div><div>Jamont has ample talent to play in the NBA. He's freezing his balls off in Moscow because of the elevator not going to the top floor. Stans couldn't coach that up and evidently neither can any of his coaches since then.</div>

He is tooslow nor does he handle the ball well enough to play PG
He doesnt shoot it well enough to play SG
He might be able to be the 12th man on a roster as a SF that defends, rebounds, and can get to the FT line- but thats best case scenario

me. The fact that our best player (top 3 at worst) during Stan's regime can't make it to the NBA. So much for the thought that Stan's has had tons of NBA talent that I keep hearing.

indicate the black coach always has the credibility and while the white one has none. Jamont would have been on the MSU train if it were headed to high ground. Now its become easy to jump off and blame the white coach and praise the one that left who happens to be his skin type.Strange how that seems to happen alot these days. Things break down racially almost 100% of the time, but very few have the courage to talk about it. They think it, but say nothing. I'm not a Stans fan anymore, but my reasons have to do with basketball and his lack of leadership...nothing else.

Its amazing what you are able to see in something written or spoken when you are trying.
This is quite possibly the dumbest analysis of something in a week on here...and that is saying something considering the level of dumbassedry on here each and every day.

couldn't wait until the "this is the worst post of the week or month or all time was posted".

So you really think Kirby is a better coach than Stans? Do you really think Jamont believes that? Guess all the other division one teams have no idea how talented Kirby is? Good grief.

was that Kirby was a better disciplinarian than Stansbury.

And considering the dumpster fire that has gone on this season since he left, I would say that was accurate.

He has lost control, but alot of the things he references came about when
Kirby was coach as well. So I agree with that Todd.

Believe me, if Kirby was the man, he would be wearing a different cap. Its always easy to point to the guy thats gone and say how great he was and I think it would have made no difference to Jamont if the guy wasn't his color.

I have a lot of black friends that sing a different tune when they're not around white people, and white friends that I'm cool with to the point that they'll tell me about comments mutually known white individuals may make whenever I, or other black and other differently colored individuals are not around. That's America and life in general, but what people are getting up in arms is that you're making such ******** claims just because he happens to be the same skin color as Kirby when all he said was that discipline took a back seat when he left.<div>
</div><div>Is that such a hard thing to believe that there is some truth in the statement? It looks highly likely to me.</div>

After all the years as a top assistant and many interviews for head coaching jobs, why is it that he only goes to Gtown as an asst.?

Why Gtown, simple, he was hired to recruit Mississippi kids and his job required him to get one and he did. He bought one.

Bashing a Republican would be about what I guesssed. They all start panicking when they see something like this because down deep they know its true. Minoritiesare usually loyal to their own race.

This board is back it. Comedy central. Now the detractors are using the prestigious Rick Cleveland, the trainwreck for a journalist, and Jamont Gordon, a fella with a brain LITERALLY the size of a walnut, to bash on stans. This is just perfect. This says all that needs to be said. If you wanna be on Rick Cleveland and Jamont Gordon's side, so be it.

And one more thing for Jamont. Hey Jamont. NOBODY CARES ABOUT SHIIITCAN ASVP MOSCOW. YOUR GAMES AIN'T GETTING WATCHED TONIGHT OR ANY OTHER NIGHT. Hope you get abducted like Mario Austin over there for taking the time to hop on the intranet and post negative stuff like this. One day before long, Stans will be kickin it in the Bahamas and you'll be digging ditches.

How's that rocket-scientist, pea-sized brain of yours doing freezing over in Moscow. You let yourself down and your school down when you tried to use that AA battery for a brain of yours and leave early for the NBA. Hows that working out for you? Oh..didn't get drafted. Oh yeah I forgot.

Jamont makes 6 figures playing basketball. It's working out pretty damn good for him

I'm sure with the salary he's probably making, he's enjoying his decision. Of course, living in a top European city isn't as nice as somewhere like where you are (which I'm guessing is somewhere like Walthall).

is that displine has left with Kirby. I guess that makes it correct?

If you had been to any games or around the team any, you would know that is not correct. So all you are going on is they say?

Yeah it sounds awesome living with a bunch of Russians. Actually that's my personal dream. I hope one day I can live among Russians and on another continent from my children. Stuff dreams are made of right there. That's right up there with those contractors working over in Baghdad.<div>
</div><div>This is about Gordon. Not me. Don't go getting into my life. I'm not the former MSU player and now professional athlete who has taken it upon himself to publicly question the coach to whom he owes for making sure he was in a position to have a pro career. But if you wanna go there, I'd much rather live in Mississippi than Moscow, and I'll assuredly make more in my lifelong career with my degrees than Gordon will make playing hoops in moscow for 5 years and then digging ditches for the last 40 years of his life. Gordon will have his money spent before he gets his next check.</div><div>
</div><div>Maybe he can hook up with Mario Austin and they can start a business advising promising young basketball players on how to run their careers into a ditch before they ever get going.</div><div>
</div><div>And I'm talking to you too Bost. Don't even think about it. If you can't learn from these two, you deserve what you get.</div>

you're telling me that if you had the opportunity to live Ina big European city and make 6 figures in your early twenties that to take that opportunity is stupid?

You miss the point. If your other option is working at the local piggly wiggly, then yeah I'd go. But if the other option is playing out my senior year because scouts have guaranteed me I won't be a first round draft pick with the hopes of proving my competitiveness, worth ethic, good attitude, and improving my jump shot so that I could possibly grab a 3-year guaranteed NBA contract...all the while keeping my option open to go live in Russian among the Russians one year down the road...I'll go with the latter.<div>
</div><div>Oh yeah, one more little thing: I'd leave with a degree. No way Jamont ever goes back for his degree, and the school would have given it to him for staying. They can't take that away, ever.</div><div>
</div><div>I've said it before and I'll say it again: Only way a kid needs to leave college early is if a scout for a team at the end of the first round says "Son, I guarantee you I won't pass you up if you come out. You will get your guaranteed contract." Nowadays they even let you get out there and talk to these people to determine where you'll go so you won't do stupid stuff like this.</div>

you can go back whenever and get your degree. The point is, if you have a chance to go now and make money then why not do it. You asked "as opposed to what." Well I would say the majority of kids these days that graduate probably leave school making, at most, 40k. Hell I'd be surprised if it were that much. I ask you aGAIN, if YOU hadthe chance to leave your junior year (of course this is assuming you went to college) and make 6 figures when you were 21 years old, would you have? I know I would have and I have a pretty damn good job, now. I could have (and Jamont, too) gone back to school whenver to get my degree. You act like what he did was stupid. I would guess that 90% of the people in the world would have done what he did, if put in the same situation. You
