Really kind of a question that may be ill-conceived. Let me know/ bash if you will, but
1. I feel like yesterday, Ravern found a way to adjust his game to his shooting slump, and played a good game. He went to the rack hard, got out in transition, and filled the lane on transition offense. No comment on his D as usual, but I feel like he has adapted his game to the slump, and found ways to score whereas Kodi still expects the 3-balls to fall because he his Kodi Augustus. Kodi. It ain't happening. Defend and rebound and they will come. Oh well.
2. Perhaps more controversial - let me know what you think on this one. I felt like Macklin got into JV's head yesterday. It seemed like after Macklin would score, when JV got the ball on the other end, he was kind of playing a "me too" game. What I mean by that is instead of looking to pass to the perimeter out of the post, he looked like he was bound and determined to score over Macklin to show that he could. Now, to be fair, Florida's D wasn't really sagging on him when he got the ball in the low post (great coaching move: Donovan), so JV was right to probably take the one-on-one, but it didn't look like he was even looking to make the pass. And of course NO ONE was cutting when JV got the ball. My god, why don't we ever move without the ball?
