Damn.

I wonder what a Eric Moulds would look like playing for Dan Mullen. If Croom comes here, we'll find out. We could really use Croom's size at WR. He'd be like nothing we've seen here in a long long time.

All I remember is Crooms.

Also someone needs to get the number to the QB too. Some pretty impressive throws were made to Croom.

have we ever gone into another state and taken a big time recruit that the big boys actually wanted? To beat Tennessee for a Georgia guy would be impressive. I don't think it happens though. Win 9 games again this year and we might turn some real out of state talent. Right now we have to settle for the state schools' leftovers in most cases.

Looks like Jason Husband to me. I thought Morrow was a better player on tape.<div>

landed a few out of state guys that were impressive. Crooms and Mullens not so much. Tyler & Bellard may have gotten a few, too (Threadgill, Bond, McDole, etc.). All the ones I can think of right now are Nick Turner, Rodney Hudson, Walt Harris, John James, John Hilliard, Rodney Peters, & Marvin Byrdsong. Seems like we got a guy out of John Curtis one year that was supposed to be really good and was kind of a bust. But after coming up with such a short list, your point stands.

I remember a tweet from Mirando after going to GA to watch Croom in spring practice saying something along the lines of just got done scouting a FREAK. It seems the staff is being pretty picky with legitimate offers to WRs in this class. I know our numbers will probably only allow us to take two. But I think the staff really likes Croom. He is definitely the one I want. Dude is 17'n huge for a WR. I would be thrilled getting him and an instate guy like Cowan or Cole.

it really doesn't matter if they double team you or what defense they run, you should be able to position yourself to get most passes. South Carolina's big receivers aren't very fast, but dang they just block out defenders and catch the ball (ex. Bama game).
