Guy needs to STFU. these innocent little kids are paid pros now and if they play selfish and poorly like JJ said we can comment on it.
They're paid athletes. You play poorly and criticism is fair game. If the naysayers bother you, then work hard to perform better. Use it as fuel to get better not run away.
I agree a portion of the BBN is idiotic but that comes with having an immense and passionate fanbase. Take the good with the bad. Such is life.

Bro your nephew sucked *** at basketball.... Also, there is a lot of pinned up frustration within this fanbase. Unfortunately, Jasper was an easy target because well, he was absolutely terrible.
Guys, turn off comments and get off the internet if youāre an athlete making millions of dollars for a major sports program, an entertainer making millions of dollars, or really any millionaire thatās in the spotlight. That just comes with the territory. Maybe they need a media training course for family members. I live in Columbus you should hear the stuff about the OSU football players when they lose. Just the way it is, and itās not going to get better with all the legalized sports betting.

Jasper sucks, plain and simple. At least for this level. He is top 5 of the worst 5 star players I have ever seen. Can barely dribble and has one move and it's a step back jack. Maybe instead of worrying about why people don't care if he transfers, his family should worry about getting him proper training and removing that OTE, mixtape, terrible shot taking he developed.

First of all, he is a professional athlete. Criticism comes with that. Secondly, don't pretend it's only Kentucky fans who criticize their players. Tennessee fans were publicly wondering if their players were involved in gambling (before Barnes comment).

But, whether they admit it to themselves or not, he was terrible and way out of his depth this year at UK. He was a boy among men. I thought Pope gave him more than enough run to prove himself. Really much more so than he shouldāve.
They can blame everyone else but they know the truth. He will transfer and look the same next year. Has potential to be good in a couple years, but just isnāt near there at this point IMO. Most of the kids just donāt wanna put in the time these days. ESP the highly rated ones if they are a bit behind expectations. Easier to just lash out at everyone else and transfer.

I understand the family aspect, watching your nephew endure criticism, etc. What I donāt understand is the idea that Jasper didnāt get a fair chance. He had plenty of chances!!! Who should he have played over? He didnāt deserve more minutes than Oweh, Abderdeen, Chandler and Williams (when healthy). This is delusion at its finest. He was not ready to be an impact player at this level. No amount of playing time was going to change this reality.

Times have changed since his uncle played. JJ supposedly got 1 million $ to play basketball. Pros better expect criticism when they greatly under achieve

Wish JJ the best, but I can't remember a player in recent times that basically killed any momentum/lead we had the instant he entered the game. I started questioning whether or not it was our opponent's boosters that were paying his NIL instead of us bc he sure helped them more than he did UK.
So instead of encouraging his nephew to work harder he blames the fans.
Fans that support and for o games and praised when he did good things.
