D2 and D3 wrestlers don't count. Is the Messiah Open going to have enough D1 competition for him? Or do matches against D2 and D3 wrestlers count too?
Jax will have enough matches by Big 12s to allocate a spot (he will have at least 8 matches for coaches rank) and will have better than 70% winning %. No issue there. If Jax doesnt have enough matches, does that just mean he has to place a certain place at Big12s?
In the other thread it was mentioned that he was going to the jackrabbit openIs the Messiah Open going to have enough D1 competition for him? Or do matches against D2 and D3 wrestlers count too?
I made that supposition, and it was a guess based upon the rumor of him doing an Open this weekend + which ones were available. In the other thread it was mentioned that he was going to the jackrabbit open
Every time a McCort kid gets beat, an angel gets it's wingsI, for one, am sick of the Jaxxxx hype. Again, the guy is older than Blaze but people acting like he’s some inexperienced high school kid. The Cowboy hype (wagon) train in full effect.
Seidel beating him will rival Ramos sticking his Lordship in schadenfreude if the bout happens

If DT’s plan isn’t to wrestle him vs. Seidel - a match I’d prefer to see - I’m guessing he ends up at Mat Town II in Lock Haven. With a lead foot he could be back in Blacksburg before the team bus leaves for the airport.D2 and D3 wrestlers don't count.
Forrest is 7-0 with 2 duals remaining. Let's assume he gets 4 matches at B12s. He would still need to add 2 opponents -- or 3 opponents if he skips Seidel.
Without looking at brackets, that's not a sure thing at Messiah. They would probably need to do some bracket gymnastics -- give him a lower seed and stack his half. And maybe even then still hope for no upsets in his half.
IIRC Taylor said both Ramirez and Forrest were traveling to VT. So it's immaterial, unless Forrest travels with the team to Blacksburg and then his parents pick him up from there.
Wouldn't it be something it Nate weighed in light vs Ragusin to get back down to 133 for Mat Town II.If DT’s plan isn’t to wrestle him vs. Seidel - a match I’d prefer to see - I’m guessing he ends up at Mat Town II in Lock Haven. And was in deep on a shot, just lost the scramble.Their state final match was tighter than the score showed. Seidel gave up a late TD at the end of the match and held his own the whole match.
Most who get in deep on a shot against Jax seem to lose that scramble. And was in deep on a shot, just lost the scramble.
That's what I thought live. After watching replay didn't think was two swipesSeidel got robbed of 2 NF points.
