I know nothing about Jamir Watkins, but I think we’re already golden.

Robinson fills all remaining holes. We’re now solid and deep at every position. It’s OK to leave one scholly open if need be. I see our roster as now being set.
We’re already golden but there was a lot of detailed talk about Watkins here this morning leading right up to when Robinson committed and taking them both would make us extremely overpowered. My comment was mostly joking but there’s not actually anything wrong with being extremely overpowered.

Yeah competing for PT and in practice is going to be turned up a notch. Pass up a shot, bench. Don’t go after a 50/50 ball, bench. Getting beat on D, bench.

My gut says this team will have a relentless effort all over the court.
Yes! And just think how much better they will get practicing against each other. And our freshmen get a wonderful opportunity to practice and play with all of these veterans who have been there and seen it all. Exciting times!

I've been tied up the last 24 hours that I haven't been able to follow his decision. Looks like my honey-do list was actually good for my health lol

Williams - Garrison
Carr - Almonor
Robinson - Oweh - Noah
Chandler - Brea - Perry
Butler - KK - Perry

12 legitimate basketball players. That's a deep team. No elite players, but 10 very good players. Reminds me of that 1995 team.
I think there’s a chance that 2-3 will have better than expected years, then 2-3 will have sub-par years for whatever reasons. I don’t think we can expect every guy to come in here and kill it from the jump. We just need find our solid 5-6 guys then 2 go-to guys. Hopefully out of the bunch, we have those.

There are always surprises. Both good and bad. Reed/Justin Edwards

we know the usual suspects are going to go that route. I dont think we need to be psychic to see it coming lol
We're human beings with emotions that vary.
I don't always agree with you, but I perceive you to be real and not plastic.
Appreciate your posts.

With most of our guys on pretty much the same level talent wise, according to what they offer, would it be realistic to go with different starters from time to time at the one, two or three according to who we are playing and matchups? Seven seniors and two sophomores that have all that experience and are talented. Just seems we could do a lot of interchanging with a team like this and keep opponents off balance with how to prepare and how to matchup.

"If we miss on Robinson, we failed to land one top 20 portal transfer.

That's disappointing. I don't have a very high expectation for next year, with or without Robinson, but you have to admit that there's not much buzz with this collection of players. Hopefully they come together like that 2004 team did.

I see next season as a stop gap season. It is what it is." - SON of Saul

You aren't wrong. However, surprises are much less likely when you are dealing with veteran players who you've seen play 3-4 years in college versus players right out of high school.

If I had to take an uneducated guess, I would guess that Pope will play a lot of different lineups and combinations near the beginning of the season and use analytics to determine what is the most effective to drill down on.
