Not sure what magic he had but he did predict that the game would probably be won by somebody making an error and he was right. The winning run reached base on the dumbest rule in baseball. A missed strike three. Then advanced to scoring position by another missed strike three and scored on the single by Hatcher.

I though it might matter down the line when they pinch ran for the starting catcher Garza. He had been really good keeping the ball in front of him.
