However, the Dixon turnover and susequent foul got Nova right back in it and Pitt missed enough freebies to win but Nova was unreal from the line. Good teams shoot them like that.

I am not threatening your manhood. I just want to know what things you saw that made you say that.

Villanova had a great play called and executed. Pitt looked like they were playing streetball in the last 45 seconds, culminating with that horrible shot Fields took with 20 seconds left. They got fortunate that Villanova was called for that block on Fields with 5 seconds left, after the wild inbounds play, but then they were completely lost on the final play. In addition, Blair was completely unstoppable, but they forgot about him down the stretch. Just was never impressed with Pitt. They damn near lost all 3 games before this one.

There was no coaching advantage/disadvantage in that final minute. And Nova's game-winning play was nothing but their PG going coast to coast in a free-for-all. Not exactly a brilliant coaching move to set that up.

Just two really good teams getting after it, even though it was sloppy at the end.

to get Nova's guard the ball. As far as the inbounds goes, he couldn't find anyone open, and was about to get a 5 second call. Nova guy broke toward the basket, but it was just a poor pass. The foul on Fields was not a smart play, but it wasn't because of anything Dixon or Wright did.

What I'm talking about is after timeouts, it appeared that Pitt didn't really know what to do, and Villanova did.

That's what I saw. Looked like to me Nova just wanted their playmakers to get to the rim and get to the line. I certainly didn't see anything that resembled a chess match down the stretch.

The way Nova handled the last minute of the game they probably should have lost. That full court pass was one of the dumbest things ive seen at the end of a game before. Terrible decision. They almost got called for a 5 second violation at the end on their last inbound. They played pretty sloppy at the end, but they hung on. Luckily for me I had them in the Final Four.

Jay Wright would disagree with you......he said they practice that play in practice everyday
