Unlike you I am a UK fan and support whoever is coach. You are not a UK fan but a Cal hater. Enjoy because Cal is going nowhere.
I support the program, kid. If the coach is doing an acceptable job, I support them. You don't see the incongruity of saying you're a UK fan and support whoever is coaching, when said coach is damaging the program? Because you can't be both. You've shown yourself to be a Cal fan moreso than a UK fan...I think the term I've seen bandied about is "Cal nuthugger".

Sure has damaged the program. Hall of Fame coach with best college basketball program last ten years.

This isn’t accurate…no one expects a title every year, we do expect to be relative and compete against the big boys. We aren’t relative and we aren’t one of the big boys anymore.
It's very accurate. With the exception of last season uk has had a very good chance to win a title in most every year. 2016 we knew we didn't, and 2018 and 2021. Titles are won in the tournament, not in December home aways.
Would you say that Duke is a "big boy"?? Since 2015 what do you think their seasons have looked like. 2 elite 8's a sweet 16 and a 2nd round exit. With the best talent in America. I know u are gonna come back with some regular season stat that means nothing in the grand scheme of things. If the game hadn't changed in the ways it has then sure that could be an example, but it has. Each year it becomes more and more a preparation for the tournament

Not accurate-no one expects to win a title every year. Everyone should expect to be relative and in the hunt every year. We aren’t relative or in the hunt and won’t be until significant changes are made.

Actually, the regular season does matter, a lot. Just another example of Cal lowering the standard here. Regular season don’t matter, SECT don’t matter, early season tournaments don’t matter, home and homes don’t matter, etc. It’s all Cal ********.

Kentucky won its first title in the 40s. The 2020 decade is the 9th decade including the 40s. Winning titles is hard. We average one a decade and that is tops with UCLA.
I agree 100%. It's very hard and there is more parity than ever. That's why I think it's important to have coach who has a fire in his belly, and the will to win.
I don't believe Cal is that guy anymore.

If we successfully run a HOF coach off with a 77 percent winning percentage over 13 years, do we expect other top coaches to want to come here and deal with a hyper bipolar fanbase OR will we have to hire and up and comer and hope?
Same line of reasoning made regarding tubby except add the ethnic component to the argument.

Really. He went out and rehired Antigua and hired Chin. He has a great recruiting class coming in and has shown he is open to change by shooting more threes. I suggest he still has that fire or he would just rest on his laurels and be reluctant to make any changes. We will see what the next two years bring but I think we will see improved play.

The more you post the more you prove you know nothing about basketball. You hate UK football and UK basketball. I am beginning to think you are a Louisvilke troll.

There will be an Ad for a coaching job when Cal does leave, so many people here think they have the answers would get laughed out of state with their resume.

2001 hit 2 layups in church league game
2005 church league most outstanding coach runner up
Note: there were only 2 teams.
2007 played zone against the one eye wonders of church league C.

Please.

It doesn't matter who the assistant coaches are, Calipari will not let them have any input, because he doesn't listen to anyone. It also doesn't matter what kind of class is coming in, they still have to be coached. I wouldn't call running down the sideline yelling go, go, go, coaching.

Maybe you should go into coaching. You seem to have all the answers.

So much for returning experience and head coaching predictions.

Nova finished the Creighton game without a FG in the last 8:43. lol

Bluejays win by 20.
