Georgia Tech backup quarterback Jaybo Shaw will miss at least the start of the season after breaking a collarbone during Saturday's scrimmage.

Head coach Paul Johnson said Shaw is expected to miss six to eight weeks. Johnson said it was too early to speculate on the possibility that Shaw could miss the season as a redshirt after playing as a true freshman in 2008.
