I am not a Cowboys fan at all but I am glad to see Jaylin Smith back on the field. He is the Notre Dame LB who was hurt in the Fiesta Bowl against Ohio St. he had nerve damage to his knee and most thought he would never play again.

He is starting tonight at MLB for Dallas.

Good for him. That was a brutal injury. Reminded me of when that Miami RB blew his knee out against the Buckeyes in 2002 National title game.

saw that and got out of my chair and yelled some colorful things. felt terrible for him. ala joe theisman and napoleon mccallum. never watched the sc kid injury film...seen plenty.

He was such a unique talent, it would be awesome if he could get back to being his old self or at least close.
